India Will Not Tolerate Interference From The Sponsors Of Terrorism: Kejriwal Replies To Ex-Pak Minister

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his family voted in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in New Delhi today. After voting, the Delhi Chief Minister said he voted to address unemployment and inflation.

"I voted today with my father, wife, and children. My mother is very ill and couldn't come. I voted against dictatorship, unemployment, and inflation. You should also go and vote," he said on X with a picture in which he and his close family members are showing their inked fingers with pride.

Former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Hussain responded to Kejriwal's post on X, "May peace and harmony defeat forces of hate and extremism."

Reacting to this comment, Kejriwal replied, "Chaudhary Sahab, I and the people of my country are fully capable of handling our issues. Your tweet is not needed. The situation in Pakistan is very bad right now. You take care of your country."

On this Hussain said, "CM sb! Indeed electioneering is your own issue but hope you will appreciate extremism be it in Pakistan or India is a borderless phenomenon and dangerous for everyone be it BD, India or Pak so everyone with some conscience must be concerned....situation in Pak is very far for ideal but individuals must strive for better Society wherever they are."

Kejriwal further stated in a separate tweet, "The elections taking place in India are our internal matter. India will not tolerate interference from the biggest sponsors of terrorism."

Without any delay, Hussain said in another post, "Politician speech in India is not complete without Pakistan bashing whereas, in Pak no one is really bothered about Indian politics why is that? One reason may be that Pak is synonymous with significance of Muslim India and BJP use Pakistan to express anti MUSLIM sentiments?"

Voting is currently taking place in 58 parliamentary constituencies across seven states and one Union Territory (UT). This includes all seven of Delhi's Lok Sabha seats.

In Delhi, the election is particularly intense, with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress jointly challenging the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The BJP won all seven of Delhi's seats in the last two elections. This time, Congress is contesting three seats, while AAP is contesting four. Both parties are part of the INDIA bloc.

The Lok Sabha elections will conclude on June 1 with the seventh phase of voting, covering 57 constituencies. The results will be announced on June 4.
