Chandrayaan 3: Unfolding in the Last 12 Hours

At 6:04 pm, a historic soft landing was achieved on the moon's south pole, a carefully selected flat terrain for this monumental feat. A captivating photo of the landing site was captured and transmitted to Earth through the landing imager camera.

The vital communication link between the Chandrayaan 3 lander and MOX-ISTRAC Bengaluru was established, facilitating the exchange of data. As the lander descended, it captured remarkable snapshots of the landing sequence, which were subsequently dispatched to Earth for analysis.

With precision and anticipation, the rover Pragyan initiated its departure from the lander's hold.

Captured for the world to witness, the first image of Pragyan's emergence from Vikram was transmitted back to Earth, marking a culmination of dedicated efforts.

The Journey Continues: Pragyan's Exploration

As the rover Pragyan embarked on its first steps, it smoothly transitioned from the lander and embarked on its exploration of the lunar surface. This phase will involve meticulously planned maneuvers, data collection, and analysis, adding yet another layer of accomplishment to India's remarkable lunar quest.
