India's first entrepreneurship programme rolls out on Monday
Mumbai, Aug 9: India's first experiential entrepreneurship education programme will be rolled out from the campus of Lemon School of Entrepreneurship in Nagpur tomorrow.
"Unique in many ways and a first-of-its-kind model, the programme will have no classroom, no teacher, no marks, no attendance, no supervision and no formal rules that one is used to observe in almost all educational institutions," according to the release issued by Lemon School of Entrepreneurship.

Instead, the programme will address various aspects of venture creation, ideation, validation and real life immersion and technology usage apart from knowledge-based management subjects, the release said.
The release quoted Deepak Menaria, Mentor, Innovator and Idea-Change Catalyst, Founder and Chief Idea Farmer, Lemon School of Entrepreneurship, saying they had screened 3000 aspirants and 1000 plus enquirers to select a batch of 20 participants for this 9-month long India's first Experiential Entrepreneurship Education Program slated to kick off on August 10.
"For this, we organised 25 events across 15 cities in various parts of India by meeting and interacting with prospective entrepreneurs over the last 120 days," he said.
Brainchild of entrepreneurs and experts from premier institutions including IIMs, who are keen to create an experimental platform for global entrepreneurs in India, Lemon School of Entrepreneurship (LSE) is a radically different and unique in more than many ways, the release said.
Dr Rajeev Roy, Ex-Professor IIM Raipur and Alumni of IIM Ahmedabad, who is the Chief Gardener at Lemon School of Entrepreneurship, said "Our programme includes mentor interaction, one-to-one coaching, 'Do It Yourself' (DIY) projects, experiential learning, real life experimentation, outbound yatras and activities, self- exercises, team assignments, real business tasks and internships among others.
