India-Pakistan Ceasefire: Jaishankar Says No Compromise On Terrorism
Following the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar made his first public remarks, reiterating India's uncompromising position on terrorism.
"India and Pakistan have today reached an understanding to cease all firing and military operations," Jaishankar stated on X (formerly Twitter). "India has always maintained a strong and unwavering stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. That position remains unchanged and will continue to guide our actions."

His comments come in the wake of an agreement between the two nations to halt hostilities across land, air, and sea after days of heightened tensions and military engagement.
