India ODI World Cup Squad 2023: Here's The Players' List
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the squad for the forthcoming ICC Mens Cricket World Cup.
Senior men's selection committee headed by Ajit Agarkar declared the Indian squad for the big tournament which starts from October 5 in India.

Three players - Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, and Prasidh Krishna, part of the Asia Cup squad, have been dropped. However, KL Rahul, despite not playing cricket since May, has been included in the 15-member squad for the World Cup.

Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya (Vice-captain), Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Mohd. Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav.
"We have been discussing a lot of names. Lot of them pick themselves and we had some fitness issues which we had to wait. All three coming from long term injuries. Rahul is recovering and from there it is all about picking the strongest squad," Chief Selector Agarkar said.
He added, "Rahul has played a couple of games over the last two days and kept wickets for whole 50 overs. He should be ready."
