India invites all its neighbours, barring Pak, to G20 meet at Hyderabad
India has been clear about Pakistan that whatever is happening with it is its own creation and it must find a way out of its economic troubles.
Under its G20 presidency, India is and will be holding a plethora of events on various issues throughout the year. In one such event to be held at Hyderabad next month, it has invited all its neighbours. However, the one neighbour that is missing in the invitee list is Pakistan. When asked why Pakistan is missing, the obvious reply is that it is an invitation to 'friendly' neighbours only.
Pakistan has been inimical for decades and now even India has made it clear it is better this way. Earlier, India's Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar made it clear that India's response to any situation in Pakistan depends upon the latter's choices and actions. When asked about whether India would come to rescue Pakistan from its economic troubles, Jaishankar retorted that India's position was not directly relevant.

India has been clear about Pakistan that whatever is happening with it is its own creation and it must find a way out of its economic troubles. Jaishankar is of the view that Pakistan's future is largely determined by Pakistan's own actions and choices.
Economic crisis, Pak's own doing
Jaishankar does not mince words when he talks about Pakistan. When asked about the ongoing financial crisis in Pakistan, he said that no country reaches a difficult situation suddenly and without cause. For him Pakistan's situation tells that it is an outcome of what it has been doing for decades.
Therefore, according to Jaishankar, it is for the Pakistanis to find a way out and India is irrelevant for whatever is happening in Pakistan. Needless to say he is of the view that Indo-Pak relationship today is not one where India can be relevant directly to that process. The process he meant any financial aid that could help Pakistan stabilize.
G20 meeting in Hyderabad
Coming to the G20 meeting in Hyderabad, a city with diverse culture and known for IT companies, India has invited the members and neighbours to discuss 'Startup' culture. There is no location better than Hyderabad for such a meet as the city itself is one of the several 'Startup hubs' that India has created over these years.
A range of activities will take place as the part of the Startup 20 activities that will include five events including inception meet, summit and three other intervening events, one of them is in Hyderabad. Later on even Gurugram will be hosting similar meetings in July this year.
