India cares: Pakistani spy too scared to go home; trusts Indian justice system
The story of a Pakistani spy refusing to leave India after serving jail term in Bhopal, MP, speaks volumes about rule of law followed by India.
Bhopal, April 12: At a time when tension between India and Pakistan has accelerated due to the death penalty awarded to Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav by a military court in Pakistan, a Pakistani spy, who has served a jail term in India, says he is too scared to go back home (Pakistan).
Meet Pakistani spy, Sajeed Muneer, who served 12 years jail term in Bhopal jail, but now says he is too scared to go back to his home country as he feels Pakistani authorities might kill him.

Revealing details about Muneer, Rajesh Bhadoria, Superintendent of Police, Bhopal, told ANI, "Muneer is afraid to go back to Pakistan as he fears he might be killed there. He says he trusts Indian justice system more."
Thus Bhopal Police is taking care of the Pakistani spy for 10 months now and paying for his daily necessities, reveals Bhadoria. The worst part is that even after his release from jail in 2016, Pakistani authorities refused to accept Muneer as one of their own citizens.
"Muneer was jailed for 12 years, but after his release Pakistan did not respond to extradition requests by the Indian government," said Bhadoria.
At a time when Pakistan is hell bent on killing an innocent Indian by labelling Jadhav as a spy, the Indian government by taking care of Muneer shows as how 'love and mercy' go a long way in bridging distances between two hostile neighbours.
