A gathering of Floor leaders representing parties within the I.N.D.I.A bloc took place at the residence of Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress president and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Rajya Sabha, located in Delhi.
Kharge convened this meeting of I.N.D.I.A bloc MPs in preparation for Parliament's special session scheduled to occur from September 18 to 22. As per insider information, the leaders of the I.N.D.I.A bloc will formulate their strategy for the forthcoming special session.

The specific agenda for this five-day special parliamentary session has not yet been disclosed.
Previously, KC Venugopal, Congress General Secretary for Organisation, had mentioned that the party president had called for a meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Strategy Group on Tuesday.
"Kharge ji has also summoned a meeting of MPs from like-minded opposition parties," he informed reporters, indicating that discussions regarding the agenda for the upcoming session would take place during the meeting.
The opposition alliance, I.N.D.I.A, is actively coordinating its efforts and intends to present a unified front against the BJP on various fronts, including the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This alliance has been working cohesively during the recent Monsoon session of Parliament as well.
