The candidates contesting the Nagaland and Meghalaya elections have got richer over the past five years. While in Nagaland the average assets of a candidate are Rs 4.31 crore, in Meghalaya it is Rs 11.9 crore.
The data has been provided by the Association for Democratic Reforms.
Nagaland:
