I am still a minister: Azam Khan threatens bureaucrat
Irked by being stopped and made to walk, Khan allegedly pulled up the district magistrate and threatened him.
His party may have lost the Uttar Pradesh polls but minister Azam Khan continues to throw his weight around as 'minister' in Uttar Pradesh government. The Samajwadi party leader who is not new to controversy courted another one when a video showing him threatening a bureaucrat emerged. Khan, in the video, is seen threatening the Rampur district magistrate.

Khan was on his way to collect his election victory certificate when his car was stopped from entering the Rampur Mandi. He had to walk the stretch and claimed that the area was unhygienic. Irked by being stopped and made to walk, Khan allegedly pulled up the district magistrate who is also the returning officer, threatening to transfer him and reminding him that he was still a 'minister'.
"Did Modiji ask you to bring me through this slush? The government is still ours and I am still a minister. I will continue to be the minister till the new government is formed and I can get you transferred out of here if I want to. Is this why I got you transferred here? I helped you get a transfer here and your loyalties switch this quick?" Khan is seen saying in the video.
While his behaviour has drawn criticism from other political parties and social media where the video is going viral, the Samajwadi Party has remained mum on the issue.
