Florida: Hyderabad student shot dead over alleged robbery
Florida, June 15: A 23-year old engineering student from Hyderabad was shot dead in Florida in an alleged case of mugging. Sai Kiran is said to have been shot dead after two unidentified people asked him to hand over his mobile to them. Kiran had just started his MS program in the city.
Kiran's uncle Shravan Kumar said that he had been shot when he was talking over the phone with his friend just outside his residence at 12:15 pm on Sunday.

Kumar said,"We received information from his friends that some people demanded his phone on which he was already talking. His friend on the other end of the call heard four rounds of gun shots being fired. We are awaiting more details."
Sai Kiran had completed his bachelors in engineering from Geetanjali college in Keesara and had left for the US on May 2 to join the MS course.
