Hot humid day ahead for Delhiites

New Delhi, Oct 6: Under clear skies, Delhiites woke up to a humid morning today with the MeT officials predicting a hot day ahead.

Humidity was as high as 79 per cent till 8.30 AM this morning, and is expected to rise as the day progresses, said MeT department officials. The minimum temperature settled three notches above the season's average at 24.6 degrees Celsius.

The maximum is likely to touch 38 degrees Celsius. The weatherman predicted a clear day ahead. Yesterday, the day temperature had settled at 37.7 degrees, four notches above the normal level while the minimum was recorded at 24.2 degrees, two notches above normal.
