Hindu pilgrims from Pak to take a dip in the Ganga

Haridwar, Apr 24: Around 180 Hindu pilgrims from Pakistan arrived here today to take a holy dip in the Ganga during the ongoing ardhkumbh mela and take part in the religious ceremonies at Sapt Sarovar in the city tomorrow.

A batch of 181 Hindu pilgrims from Pakistan's Sind province arrived in the city this evening to have a ritual bath in the Ganga during ongoing ardhkumbh and attend the religious ceremonies to be held tomorrow at Sant Shadani Darbar at Sapt Sarovar under the supervision of its chief Pithadheeshwar Sant Yudhisthir Lal, Convenor of the darbar Sant Arjun Das said.

Uttarakhand

The Hindu devotees from Pakistan will attend the inaugural ceremony of the newly built Gangaghat at Sapt Sarovar besides taking a dip in the Ganga during the ongoing ardhkumbh which will end formally on April 30.
