Helicopter Ride Prices Halved for Aerial Views of Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj
The cost of a helicopter ride at the Maha Kumbh has been significantly reduced to Rs 1,296 per person, as per an official announcement. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated that the 7–8 minute helicopter rides will commence on January 13. Previously, the fare was Rs 3,000 per person.

Tourists will enjoy a bird's-eye view of the expansive Maha Kumbh area, flying over Prayagraj city. The joyrides can be booked online through www.upstdc.co.in and will be managed by Pawan Hans, a Government of India enterprise. These rides will operate continuously, subject to weather conditions.
Exciting Events and Performances
The UP Tourism and Culture Department has also arranged for water and adventure sports at the fair site. A drone show is scheduled from January 24 to 26, alongside a water laser show and other engaging activities. Renowned artists from across India will perform throughout the 40-day Mela, which will also celebrate UP Diwas.
Singer Shankar Mahadevan is set to perform at the Ganga Pandal on January 16. The event will conclude with a performance by Mohit Chauhan on February 24, according to the statement.
