Hyderabad-Bound Chopper Crashes in Pune, All Occupants Survive
Four people miraculously survived a helicopter crash in Pune's Mulshi tehsil on Saturday afternoon. The Hyderabad-bound chopper, operated by Global Vectra Helicorp, went down due to adverse weather conditions.
The helicopter's captain, identified as Anand, sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The other three occupants escaped unhurt and are reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the crash.
The incident occurred amid heavy rainfall in the region, following an orange alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for Pune and Satara districts in western Maharashtra.
An IMD official stated that a low-pressure area over the east-central Arabian Sea, off the Maharashtra coast, is expected to bring rain to most parts of the state over the next 48 hours.
This crash is reminiscent of a similar incident in May when a private helicopter en route to pick up Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Sushma Andhare crashed during landing. In that case, the pilot managed to escape unharmed before the helicopter went down.
