Heavy rains in Tamil Nadu: Southern Railways cancels some trains

Chennai, Nov 13: Heavy rains pounding various parts of the state forced cancellation of some trains, Southern Railway said today.

Train No 12077 Chennai Central-Vijayawada Jan Shatabdi and Train No 12078 returning from there and Train No 12640 Bangalore-Chennai Central have been 'fully cancelled,' Southern Railway said in a release.

Six services have been partially cancelled while three services, Patna-Bangalore Express, Guwahati-Thiruvananthapuram Express and Thiruvananthapuram – Shalimar express will be diverted without reaching Chennai Central, it said.
