Heavy rain likely in Andhra Pradesh in next 5 days

Rajamahendravaram (AP), June 29: Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore of Coastal Andhra Pradesh for next five day, a MeT office bulletin said on Wednesday,June 29.

The South West monsoon has been active over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalseema. The low pressure area over Chattisgarh and neighbourhood has been marked, it said.

"Heavy rainfall warning for next four days for above nine districts of coastal Andhra Pradesh," the bulletin added.
