Heat wave continues, Telangana BURNS at 44.5 degrees
Telangana seems to have suffered the most due to heat wave in the state.
Hyderabad, Apr 25: The heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Telangana on Tuesday and Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department said in a bulletin issued on Tuesday.
The heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in the districts of Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Jagtial, Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool for next 48 hours, it said.

4
degrees
Celsius.

mercury
is
likely
to
be
above
42
degrees
Celsius
at
a
few
places
in
Telangana,
it
said.

sizzled
at
44.5
degrees
Celsius
on
April
18.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on April 19 ordered the officials to declare holidays for the schools from the same day, in view of oppressive heat in many parts of the state.
Reports said that more than 31 people have died in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and nine in Maharashtra due to sunstroke.
