A woman reunited with her long-lost husband after a decade of separation outside a hospital in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, Hindustan Times reported.

The man identified as 44-year-old Motichand Verma hails from Devkali village in the Sukhpura area, Ballia. His wife identified as Janaki Devi has now discovered him in an extremely weak and frail state on Friday.

She spotted him outside the hospital. The said woman had come to a hospital on Friday. When she was returning home, she saw a man sitting at the entrance of a hospital and realised that he was her husband who had gone missing 10 years ago.

The video of Janaki's emotional moment has gone viral. In the local Bhojpuri dialect, the woman's voice can be heard instructing someone on a phone call to bring a shirt to cover her father. She is heard telling the person that her husband has been found outside the hospital gate.

The couple had tied the knot 22 years ago. He went missing 10 years ago without a trace. Janaki tirelessly searched for him in Ballia and the neighbouring regions of Bihar, but her efforts proved fruitless. To sustain herself, she toiled in the fields, and an entire decade elapsed before fate intervened and she finally stumbled upon her husband, seated by the entrance of a hospital.
