Health Update On Injured BJP MPs

Dr. Ajay Shukla, the Medical Superintendent at RML Hospital, revealed that the two MPs were dealing with head injuries and blood pressure issues. Rajput's blood pressure remains elevated, while Sarangi, who is an elderly cardiac patient, faces potential risks due to the stress caused by the altercation. Doctors are taking every precaution to manage his condition, as such stress could lead to heart complications or a stroke.

Political and Medical Responses

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the injured MPs at the hospital, where he confirmed that both would remain under medical observation for at least two days. Singh emphasized that the MPs are stable but remain under careful supervision. He further explained that Sarangi had received two stitches on his head, while Rajput's injury required ongoing treatment.

Congress and BJP React to the Incident

The incident has stirred up considerable political tension, with both Congress and BJP filing cross-complaints over the scuffle. The BJP's Union Minister BL Verma expressed deep concern over the altercation, stating that he could not speak much to Sarangi due to his critical condition in the ICU. Verma also criticized Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of disrespecting the democratic process.

The Bigger Picture: A Deepening Political Divide

This clash highlights the growing divisions between the ruling BJP and opposition parties, particularly as they continue to escalate tensions in the ongoing parliamentary session. With the scuffle resulting in injuries, the political discourse has taken a more combative turn, underscoring the fractious nature of current Indian politics.

As the situation develops, the health of the injured MPs remains a focal point, and the scuffle is likely to fuel further debates and confrontations between the BJP and Congress in the days to come.
