Haryana's Green Revolution: Government's Efforts To Enhance Greenery
Discover Haryana's commitment to environmental sustainability through initiatives like 'Trees' Shadow for Every Village' and the new 'One Tree for Mother' scheme.
The Nayab Singh Saini government is actively promoting greenery in Haryana. Minister of State for Forests and Wildlife, Sanjay Singh, highlighted the success of initiatives like 'Trees' Shadow for Every Village,' 'Greenery for Every House,' and 'Plantation.' These schemes aim to make the state greener and more lush.
In addition to these efforts, a new scheme called 'One Tree for Mother' will be launched. This initiative encourages tree planting as a tribute to mothers. Sanjay Singh emphasised the importance of trees in combating pollution and providing oxygen. He urged everyone to plant as many trees as possible.

With the monsoon season approaching, the Forest Department plans to raise awareness about tree planting. Sanjay Singh stated that caring for planted trees is equally important. The concept of 'forest friends' will support this effort, ensuring the state's greenery thrives.
So far, 27 thousand individuals have registered as forest friends on the state portal. These volunteers will play a crucial role in maintaining the plantation drive. Their involvement is expected to significantly contribute to making Haryana green and lush.
Sanjay Singh reiterated that trees are vital for environmental health. He stressed that both planting and nurturing trees are essential steps towards a greener future. The government's continuous efforts aim to create a sustainable and eco-friendly environment in Haryana.
The state's initiatives reflect a strong commitment to environmental conservation. By involving the community and launching innovative schemes, Haryana aims to set an example in green development. The upcoming monsoon season presents an ideal opportunity for residents to participate in these efforts.
The collective action of planting and caring for trees will help mitigate pollution and enhance oxygen levels. The government's focus on greenery underscores its dedication to improving the quality of life for its citizens.
Through these comprehensive measures, Haryana is on its way to becoming a model state for environmental sustainability. The active participation of residents as forest friends will ensure the success of these green initiatives.
The state's proactive approach serves as an inspiration for other regions to adopt similar measures. By prioritising tree planting and care, Haryana is paving the way for a healthier and greener future.
The ongoing efforts by the Nayab Singh Saini government highlight the importance of community involvement in environmental conservation. With continued support from residents, Haryana's vision of a lush and green state is becoming a reality.
