Haryana Violence: Schools, Colleges, Workplaces Reopen In Gurugram: Police
The schools in Gurugram have reopened and the internet is operational amid communal unrest in the area following the clashes in Nuh that began on Monday afternoon.
"All schools, colleges and workplaces are functioning normally. There are no restrictions on the movement of traffic. The internet is also operational," ACP Varun Dahiya (Crime), Gurugram, said on Wednesday.

He has appealed to people not to pay heed to rumours on social media. "If anyone wants to report any information, they can reach helpline number '112'," he told news agency ANI.
Earlier, the Gurugram Police said that they have increased security in sensitive areas while there have been no major incidents. "We request the public to please not worry. There have been some incidents of arson and skirmishes today. But there has been no major incident. We have strengthened security in sensitive areas and are on alert to maintain peace," it said on Twitter.

The educational institutions, including coaching centres, were ordered to remain shut on Tuesday following the communal unrest.
On Monday afternoon, clashes erupted in Haryana's Nuh when a procession led by Hindu groups, passing through the district, was allegedly attacked. The incident resulted in the unfortunate deaths of at least two home guards and left dozens injured, including policemen. As the evening approached, the violence began spreading to other areas of Haryana, with reports of unrest in Palwal, Faridabad, and Gurugram.
The cops have arrested 116 people in connection with the violence and 44 FIRs have been already filed.
