Haryana Govt Cancels Leaves Of Doctors, Orders To Reserve 25% Beds For Emergencies In Every Hospitals
In view of war like situation between India and Pakistan, the Haryana state government has revoked all leaves granted to doctors across both public and private healthcare facilities. This precautionary measure mandates that medical professionals remain vigilant and ready to respond to any emergency.
The directive not only underscores the critical situation but also ensures that the healthcare system is primed to deal with the potential influx of emergencies. This action is a direct consequence of the ongoing 'Operation Sindoor', highlighting the government's commitment to maintaining readiness amid the uncertain situation at the border.

During a recent all-party meeting convened to discuss the ongoing conflict with Pakistan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who presided over the gathering, outlined the current scenario without delving into specifics, citing the operation's ongoing nature.
The meeting saw participation from leaders of major political parties, where the Congress party assured its unwavering support to the government's efforts. The Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, pointed out the Prime Minister's absence during this critical time and brought up media reports concerning the downing of Rafale aircraft, a matter on which the government has yet to comment.
The state's healthcare facilities have been instructed to reserve a quarter of their beds for emergency situations, a directive stemming from the recent military actions taken by India. In a robust response to last month's terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the tragic loss of 26 tourists, India launched a series of cruise missile strikes targeting nine locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK).
These locations, including Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, and six others, were pinpointed as significant hubs for terrorist activities. This decisive action underscores India's resolve in addressing terrorism and bolstering its national security.
