Hardik Patel to lead next round of agitations from Surat

Ahmedabad, Sept 1: Hardik is not done yet. He has said that he would be leading the next round of agitation to demand reservation of the Patel community under the OBC quota later today.

Speaking to the media, he said,"We have called a meeting of all our 137 leaders from across the State today (Monday) evening to chart out the plan for the second round of agitation in the State. We will start the agitation from Surat tomorrow (Tuesday). We will focus more on taluk-and village-level this time."'

The first round of agitation over the issue was followed by violence in Ahmedabad on August 25. 10 people were killed in the incident.
