Gurugram Police Slaps Hefty Fine On Singer Badshah For Traffic Violations
Badshah, a well-known singer and rapper, found himself in trouble for violating traffic rules in Gurugram. The local traffic police fined him Rs 15,500. On Sunday, he attended Punjabi singer Karan Aujla's concert at Area Mall in Sector 68, Gurugram. Badshah's convoy of three cars, including a Thar, drove on the wrong side from Badshahpur to the venue.
Traffic Violations and Consequences
The incident was captured by CCTV cameras. Traffic Inspector Devender Kumar stated, "A challan has been issued and action has been taken for rash driving, playing loud music in the vehicle, and driving on the wrong side." This highlights the seriousness of the violations committed by Badshah's convoy.

Gurugram Police spokesperson Sandeep explained that there were three vehicles involved. He said, "There was a music event on Sohna Road. To go to that event, they used the wrong direction. The vehicle was driven on the wrong side. Action has been taken by the Gurugram Police on this." This statement underscores the police's commitment to enforcing traffic laws.
Vehicle Registration Details
According to Gurugram police, one of the vehicles in Badshah's convoy was a Thar with a number plate. The other vehicles had temporary numbers. Interestingly, the Thar is registered under Deependra Mali from Panipat. Despite this registration detail, Badshah was held accountable for paying the fine.
The police's decision to issue a challan to Badshah serves as a reminder that everyone is subject to the law regardless of their status. This action reinforces the message that no one is above legal regulations and that public safety remains a priority.
