Gujarat: Website of Surat District Education Officer hacked, restored later

The official of Surat District Education Officer was restored on Wednesday after it was allegedly been hacked.

The website appearing on the screen showed Pakistan flag and slogans appear on screen

The attack is said to be a response to alleged Pakistani hackers targeting Indian websites.

However this isn't the first time the Indian Government website has been hacked.

The cyber warfare between Pakistan and India is not relatively new as hackers from both countries have had defaced several websites of each other's country.
