Gujarat: Wall Collapse At Construction Site In Mehsana Claims Lives Of 7 Workers

Seven construction workers lost their lives when a wall collapsed on them at a construction site in Gujarat's Mehsana district on Saturday, according to police reports.

Rescue operations are ongoing, with concerns that more workers could still be trapped beneath the rubble.

The accident took place as several labourers were excavating a pit for an underground tank at a factory near Kadi town, about 37 km from the district headquarters.

Following the collapse, the workers were buried under loose soil.

Mehsana Superintendent of Police, Tarun Duggal, confirmed the death toll as rescue efforts continued.
