  • As per the reports, the man has been identified as Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari, who is a Gujarat businessman. He is a resident of Himatnagar in Sabarkantha district.
  • Bhavesh Bhandari was known for his frequent contributions to the Jain community, especially for monks and gurus.
  • Bhavesh Bhandari's grand shobha-yatra paraded through Himatnagar with great fanfare, spanning approximately 4 kilometers, News9 reported.
  • 35 individuals are set to embrace monkhood at the Himatnagar River Front on April 22, Dikul Gandhi said. He stated that anyone relinquishing wealth or property worth millions is expected to lead a modest life.
  • Upon taking the vow on April 22, the couple will be required to cut off all familial connections and forfeit possession of any materialistic belongings. Henceforth, they will walk the places on a barefoot and lead rest of their lives through alms.

Devanshi, eldest daughter of Dhanesh and Ami Sanghvi, underwent Diksha in Surat's Vesu area amidst a gathering of hundreds, graced by the presence of Jain monk Acharya Vijay Kirtiyashsuri. Her father, proprietor of Sanghvi and Sons, a well-established diamond polishing and export enterprise in Surat, with a legacy of three decades, as reported by Zee News.
