Gorakhpur tragedy: People allege discrepancy in treatment
Health Minister Siddharth Nath Singh and Minister for Technical & Medical Education Ashutosh Tandon will be visiting the hospital after meeting CM Yogi Adityanath.
Families of children at BRD Medical College, where at least 30 children died since the past two days, alleged discrepancy in treatment saying they were buying food and medicine from outside.
A doctor at BRD Medical College said: ''In monsoon there are many patients, forced to keep 2 on 1 bed. There's dearth of doctors but we monitor round the clock''.

A day after the targedy was reported, Uttar Pradesh government deployed police force to tighten security outside the BRD Medical College.
Meanwhile, Oxygen cylinders being brought to the college, reports ANI.

Health Minister Siddharth Nath Singh told PTI, "The deaths of children were very unfortunate and the government will set up an inquiry committee to ascertain if any lapse has been there and if anyone is found guilty he will be made accountable."
Citing a break-up of casualties since August 7 till date, he said according to reports from the paediatric department of the college, 60 children have died due to various diseases during the period.
Singh, However, asserted that the deaths were not because of the paucity of oxygen.
The incident triggered a spate of reactions from the opposition parties, with the Samajwadi Party and the Congress seeking the resignation of the state health minister.
