Google Doodle! Search Engine Celebrates Republic Day 2025 With Wildlife-Themed Logo Design

India celebrates its 76th Republic Day, and Google joins in by showcasing a special Doodle. This artwork, created by Pune-based guest artist Rohan Dahotre, features a snow leopard, tiger, crocodile, and other animals. These creatures represent India's diverse regions and are dressed in traditional Indian attire while holding musical instruments.

Republic Day holds immense importance for India as it commemorates the adoption of the Constitution on 26th January 1950. Indians worldwide celebrate this milestone in the country's democratic journey with pride and enthusiasm.

Republic Day Parade Highlights

The Republic Day parade in New Delhi is a major attraction. It showcases India's military strength and cultural heritage along Kartavya Path. This year marks 75 years since India became a Republic, making the celebrations even more significant.

The parade will feature sixteen tableaux from various states and Union Territories, alongside fifteen from central ministries and organisations. Notably, Madhya Pradesh's tableau will highlight Project Cheetah and Kuno National Park.

Google Doodle's Unique Representation

The Google Doodle includes a snow leopard dressed in Ladakh's traditional attire. A tiger stands nearby, holding a musical instrument. The peacock, India's national bird, is depicted in flight. An antelope wearing ceremonial clothing carries a staff.

Rohan Dahotre shared his inspiration for the Doodle on Google's website: "My illustration also draws inspiration from the diverse wildlife of my nation. India boasts incredible biodiversity, from the cold, snowy regions of the Himalayas in the north to the lush rainforests of the Western Ghats in the south, where new species are still being discovered at this moment. The country's varied habitats include deserts, wetlands, grasslands, lakes, and seas, each home to unique flora and fauna. My aim was not only to highlight India's regions, cultures, and geographical richness."
