Good news for flood hit Chennai: ICICI Bank waives off penalty for delay in EMI, credit card payment
Chennai, Dec 5: In view of ongoing flood crisis in Chennai, ICICI Bank has decided not to levy any penalty for its customers in Chennai for delay in EMI and credit card payments, tweeted ICICI Bank today.
The bank has also decided to waive off charges for cheque bounce in the same period, added the tweet.

Chennai has witnessed the worst rainfall in nearly a 100 years, forcing the closure of its airports too. Normal life in the city has come to standstill due to heaviest rainfall.
After doing an aerial survey of the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared Rs 1,000 crore package for the state.
Chief Minister Jayalalithaa reviewed the situation and deputed ministers to inspect the affected regions.
