Shocking: Govt school teaches Asaram's book on sex tips; probe ordered
Raipur, Oct 7: Days after Chhattisgarh government faced flak for blaming working women for unemployment in the country, BJP government once again has courted controversy.
Reportedly, self-styled godman Asaram Bapu's book on sex tips were distributed to students in some government schools in the State. Shockingly, the students of the government schools in Kondagaon district were allegedly being forced to read 'obnoxious content' of the book.
The book 'Divya Prerana-Prakash, authored by the godman reportedly said, "If someone opts for sexual indulgence in life, he should be reminded of philosopher Socrates' teachings".

The book further mentioned, "Sexual appetite is never satisfied. It renders one's life useless and devastated".
According to ANI report, in 2012, the Raman Singh government had put a ban on using this book. But the education department in some districts ignored the notice and school continued to teach from the book.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has ordered through probe in the case and immediate seizure of the books.
