Giriraj Singh Reacts To Rahul Gandhi's Remark On RSS: 'He Should Ask His Grandmother About...'

Union Minister Giriraj Singh took a sharp jab at Rahul Gandhi after the Congress MP's remarks about RSS in Dallas, Texas.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi's statement that RSS views India as "one idea" while the Congress believes in India as "a multiplicity of ideas," Singh countered by suggesting that Gandhi should consult his late grandmother, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, to understand the role of RSS during her time, particularly during the conflict with Pakistan.

Singh remarked, "If there is any technology to communicate with those who have passed, Rahul should ask his grandmother about the role of the RSS during that time or he can look it up in the pages of history."

He further added that Rahul Gandhi, whom he accused of lacking an understanding of RSS, would need "several lifetimes" to comprehend the organisation.

Singh also alleged that Gandhi routinely criticises the country when abroad, questioning his patriotism and understanding of the RSS.

"It seems Rahul Gandhi goes abroad only to tarnish the country's image. RSS was born from India's culture and traditions," Singh said, accusing Gandhi of being out of touch with the values of the organisation.

Meanwhile, during his address in the US, Rahul Gandhi highlighted the ideological clash between the Congress and RSS.

He said, "RSS believes that India is one idea and we believe that India is a multiplicity of ideas. We believe that everybody should be allowed to participate, allowed to dream, and should be given space regardless of their caste, language, religion, tradition, or history."

He further added that this contrast was at the heart of the battle in the recent elections, where, according to Gandhi, millions of people realised that BJP was undermining India's Constitution and cultural diversity.

Additionally, Gandhi remarked that BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had lost their grip of fear on the Indian people after the recent Lok Sabha election results.

"The fear of BJP has vanished. We saw that immediately, within minutes of the election result, nobody in India was scared of the BJP or the Prime Minister of India," he stated, framing this shift as a victory not just for his party, but for the democratic will of the Indian people.
