Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: A mesmerizing pandal inspired by ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission has been erected in Kolkata, West Bengal. The video showcases the pandal designed in the likeness of Chandrayaan-3, featuring Lord Ganesha at its center. This remarkable creation has been assembled in Kolkata as the city readies itself to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi.

Within the pandal, visitors will encounter a replica of the rocket employed by ISRO for the Chandrayaan-3 mission, prominently displayed atop the entrance gate. Upon passing through this gate, visitors will enter the central area where Lord Ganesha is reverently positioned.

On August 23, India achieved a historic milestone as ISRO's ambitious third Moon mission successfully touched down on the Moon's south pole, elevating the nation into an exclusive group of four countries and marking it as the first to land on this uncharted lunar surface.

Ganesh Chaturthi commemorates the birth of Lord Ganesha, ranking among the most widely celebrated Hindu festivals, spanning ten days of festivity. Legend holds that during this period, Lord Ganesha descended to Earth with his mother, Goddess Parvati. This year, Ganesh Chaturthi commences on September 19 and extends for ten days until September 29.

It's worth noting that Chandrayaan-3 will also be featured in a Durga Puja marquee in Kolkata, where organizers plan to recreate India's triumphant moon mission to captivate pandal visitors. Within this pandal, the goddess will be depicted within a replica of the 'Vikram,' the Chandrayaan-3 lander, alongside a model of the rover 'Pragyan.'

The puja committee has aptly named their theme 'Chandralok-e Uma' (Goddess Durga on the Moon). This creative concept was devised collectively by all club members, without the need to hire external artists to bring it to life, according to an official. Visitors will experience the sensation of standing on the moon's surface, gazing at the lander, immersing themselves in this otherworldly atmosphere.
