US Delegation Office at G20 Summit Highlights Strong India-US Relations
The Bharat Mandapam complex, hosting the offices for the G20 summit, showcased pictures in the US delegation office that reflected strong ties between India and America. The display included an image of a woman performing traditional Indian dance.
The Bharat Mandapam complex in New Delhi recently played host to the G20 Summit, housing delegation offices for all participating nations and international organizations. This grand event took place from September 9th to 10th, and saw a unique representation of each country's shared ties with India through carefully selected photographs adorning the walls of these offices.

A striking image of the iconic Statue of Liberty graced one wall in America's G20 delegation office. On an opposing wall was a photograph capturing a woman performing traditional Indian dance. These images are symbolic representations of the shared cultural ties between India and the United States, as explained by a senior official on Monday.
US President Biden’s Visit
US President Joe Biden also spent some time at his country's delegation office set up at Hall No. 14 within this complex. The American office space featured additional images reflecting US culture and heritage including pictures of Capitol Hill and Grand Canyon alongside that of Indian tradition.
Symbolism in UK Delegation Office
In much the same way, Britain's delegation office displayed an image showcasing London Bridge along with another featuring Ajanta caves – an archaeological site in India renowned for its stunning rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments dating back to second century BCE. The choice of these specific images aimed to mirror the long-standing ties between India and UK.
Fully Equipped Offices
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these offices were well-equipped with multiple facilities such as laptops, photocopiers, seating arrangements among others ensuring smooth functioning during this high-level international summit. As stated by G20 India Special Secretary Muktesh Pardeshi, every detail was meticulously planned out with great care towards reinforcing mutual respect and understanding amongst all participating countries.
In conclusion, it is evident that through thoughtful selection and placement of photographs, the Bharat Mandapam complex managed to reflect and celebrate India's shared ties with each of the G20 member countries. This visual representation served not only as an aesthetic appeal but also a subtle reminder of mutual respect, understanding and cooperation that form the foundation of these international relationships. The successful hosting of this summit marks another significant step in strengthening India's diplomatic relations on a global stage.
