Funny Video On Odisha Govt Failures Goes Viral On Social Media

Odisha's Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are being conducted in four phases, with the first three rounds held on May 13, 20 and 25. The remaining phase is scheduled for June 1. As the election progresses, the BJP and BJD have heavily emphasised on digital campaigning, marking a significant shift in electoral strategies.

Social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram are saturated with political content, reflecting parties' increased reliance on digital media to engage with voters. This transition highlights the growing importance of online platforms in shaping public opinion and influencing electoral outcomes.

BJP Targets Odisha Govt s Failures in Viral Campaign Video

As the political temperature rises in the state, both BJP and BJD are deploying their full force in the remaining phases of the elections. While the final results are yet to be seen, the impact of digital campaigning is already evident. This new era of political communication underscores the changing dynamics of voter outreach and engagement.

Meanwhile, a video of the Odisha government's failures has caught the attention of the viewers. The clip raises issues such as inadequate water irrigation, poor road infrastructure, and insufficient medical facilities.

It also points to high unemployment rates among the youth and accuses the government of corruption and mismanagement. This video has gone viral at a time when many political pundits are talking about BJP's resurgence in the state.

It is reported that the video was released much earlier but it has now gone viral with the visible unpopularity of VK Pandian, former IAS officer and the Chairman of 5T (Transformational Initiatives) with the rank of a Cabinet Minister.

Pandian was born in Tamil Nadu, studied in Delhi and started his career as a Punjab cadre IAS officer, but shifted to Odisha cadre after marrying an Odiya. The BJP has been calling him an "outsider" in Odisha's politics.

Pandian is considered to be the likely successor to incumbent Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik from the BJD.
