Funeral Procession Hits Pothole, Reviving Haryana Man In Bizarre Twist

Darshan Singh Brar, an 80-year-old man hailing from Haryana, was initially pronounced dead by doctors and then reportedly experienced a revival after the ambulance, transporting his purportedly lifeless body, encountered a pothole, as per NDTV. Brar's family claimed that he was declared deceased in Patiala and was en route to his residence near Karnal for funeral rites when the ambulance hit the pothole. Brar's grandson, accompanying him in the ambulance, observed movement and identified a heartbeat, prompting an immediate detour to the nearest hospital, where medical professionals confirmed Brar's vitality.

Currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Karnal, the octogenarian, identified as a heart patient, is reported to be in critical condition, facing breathing difficulties due to a chest infection.

Balwan Singh, one of Brar's grandchildren, disclosed that the family had received news of his demise on Thursday morning, with funeral arrangements already in progress in their hometown of Nising.

Despite relatives and local residents gathering with preparations for cremation, the unforeseen turn of events has left the family grateful for what they consider a miraculous recovery, hoping for Brar's swift recuperation.

Dr. Netrapal from Rawal Hospital in Karnal, where Brar is currently admitted, commented on the situation, emphasizing the uncertainty surrounding the events at the previous hospital.

"The family said he was on a ventilator in Patiala for four days but he is now breathing on his own. He is still critical and in the ICU. The breathing is laborious because he has an infection in his chest," stated the doctor, as reported by NDTV.
