Aryabhata

INSAT
Since 1983, India has launched a series of geostationary satellites under the banner of INSAT. These satellites have diverse applications spanning telecommunications, broadcasting, meteorology, and disaster management.

Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)
Originating in the 1990s, PSLV is a launch vehicle capable of deploying satellites into low Earth orbit, geosynchronous transfer orbit, and low Earth polar orbit.

Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV)
Developed in the 2000s, GSLV is a launch vehicle proficient in deploying satellites into geosynchronous orbit.

Chandrayaan-1
Inaugurating India's lunar exploration, Chandrayaan-1 embarked in 2008. Over a 10-month period, it orbited the Moon, uncovering significant insights about its surface, including the presence of water ice.

Mangalyaan
Marking India's inaugural interplanetary pursuit, Mangalyaan was launched in 2013. Successfully entering Martian orbit in September 2014, it endures as a functional entity, being the sole spacecraft to instantaneously orbit Mars on its initial endeavor.

Chandrayaan-2
Launched in 2019 as India's second lunar mission, Chandrayaan-2 aimed to position a rover on the Moon's surface. Unfortunately, during the lander Vikram's final descent, it lost communication with ground control. Nevertheless, the orbiter perseveres, offering crucial lunar insights.

Chandrayaan-3
Unveiled in 2022, Chandrayaan-3 represents India's third lunar expedition. Comprising an orbiter, lander, and rover, its objective is to softly land the lander and rover on the Moon's southern pole.
