"Within 5 months, I realised that she held quite liberal views," she said.
According to Singh, Twisha's emotional condition allegedly changed after she received confirmation of her pregnancy.
"On the 17th, the moment she received confirmation of her pregnancy, her entire demeanour changed; she declared that she did not want to keep this child," Giribala Singh stated.
She further claimed that Twisha appeared emotionally unstable that evening.
"That very evening, when I returned home from the office, I saw that she was in a terrible state; she was physically beating herself. She kept crying out, 'I cannot go on living like this!'"
The retired judge also said that she offered Twisha the option to leave the house respectfully if she wished.
"I told her, 'If you truly wish to leave, we can arrange your ticket for tomorrow so you may depart with dignity.'"
Claims About Her Leaving the House and Acting "Impulsively"
Giribala Singh further alleged that Twisha would often take decisions independently and unpredictably.
"We do not know where she had gone in the night... I also asked her mother. She also said that she does not know about this."
She continued:
"She acts entirely on her own whims, taking steps that are completely reckless and impulsive."
According to Singh, Twisha's mother visited the house after the incident but allegedly did not stay for long.
"Following that incident, her mother came here on the 23rd. She didn't even stay; she simply said she would return on the 30th when Samarth arrives."
The mother-in-law also claimed that Twisha remained determined about undergoing a Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP).
"On the 30th, she returned and once again became adamant about going to the hospital to undergo an MTP (Medical Termination of Pregnancy)."
Mother-in-Law Defends Her Son Samarth
While speaking about her son Samarth, Giribala Singh claimed he was emotionally suffering but unable to express it openly.
"Regarding Samarth, boys often aren't able to express their emotions through tears."
She added:
"My son is suffering because right from the very beginning, her behaviour was like that... he tried, but there was absolutely no sign of improvement."
The retired judge denied that there were major fights in the marriage but admitted that emotional stress existed after the pregnancy-related developments.
"There wasn't such a fight. But after this MTP, a sense of distress inevitably settles in one's mind."
She also referred to Twisha's independent behaviour repeatedly.
"Her stubbornness and her insistence that 'you cannot control me'..."
Questioning Twisha's mental state, Singh further said:
"If there are two conflicting voices within someone's mind, then what conclusion would you draw?"
She concluded by saying her son would cooperate legally while protecting his rights.
"Samarth will appear... However, he also possesses the right to protect his own liberty."
She further added:
"It is essentially a case that warrants dismissal, and one in which we should actually be the ones receiving public sympathy."
Twisha's Father Accuses In-Laws of Defaming His Daughter
Reacting strongly to these public statements, Twisha Sharma's father Navnidhi Sharma accused the in-laws of attempting to malign his daughter's image.
"This woman is currently out on anticipatory bail, and she is violating the conditions of that bail," he said.

He further alleged:
"She is violating the law by coming before the media and, in this manner, publicly maligning the character of the deceased, making all sorts of baseless allegations."
According to him, the investigation process is being deliberately delayed.
"Now is the time to secure justice for our daughter; it has been so many days since her passing and our daughter's body is still awaiting a second post-mortem examination (PM-2)."
He also accused influential individuals of interfering with the investigation.
"The process is now being deliberately delayed so that they can tamper with the evidence."
Family Demands Independent Investigation
Twisha's father further alleged that people connected to the judiciary were misusing their influence.
"Individuals occupying such high-ranking positions in the structure of the judiciary are effectively making a mockery of that very institution."
Expressing helplessness, he said:
"We have no backing or influence."
He also raised concerns about possible evidence tampering after anticipatory bail was granted.
"Particularly following the granting of anticipatory bail, the issue of tampering with evidence now appears to be glaringly evident."
The family has now demanded an immediate second post-mortem examination and an independent probe outside Madhya Pradesh.
"Our primary demand is that a second post-mortem examination (PM-2) must be conducted as soon as possible."
He further alleged:
"Because these individuals want the body to decompose and the process to be delayed, hoping that we will become disheartened and leave this place."
The family has also requested a Supreme Court-monitored investigation.
"This investigation should be transferred to a state outside of Madhya Pradesh."
"There must be an independent investigation conducted under the supervision of the Supreme Court or the Chief Justice of India (CJI)."
Investigation Still Ongoing
The Twisha Sharma death case continues to attract widespread public attention as serious allegations emerge from both sides. While the in-laws claim Twisha was emotionally distressed and acting independently, her family insists that attempts are being made to manipulate the investigation and damage her reputation after death.
Authorities are continuing the investigation, and no final conclusions have yet been officially announced regarding the circumstances surrounding Twisha Sharma's death.
