Initially, UIDAI had set March 14, 2024, as the deadline for free Aadhaar Card detail updates. However, they have extended this deadline to June 14, 2024, marking the second extension. It is crucial for individuals to update their Aadhaar details, especially if they are outdated or have not been updated in the last 10 years. This can be done at no cost on the mAadhaar portal until June 14, 2024.

To update Aadhaar Card details for free, follow these simple steps:

• Visit the official Aadhaar Card website at https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
• Log in using the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.
• Verify if your current documents are correct. If they are, click on 'I verify that the above details are correct.' If they are incorrect, follow these steps to update:
• Select the type of identity document from the drop-down list on the website.
• Upload the selected document in PNG, JPEG, or PDF format, ensuring it is under 2 MB in size.
• Choose the address document from the drop-down list.
• Upload the address document in PNG, JPEG, or PDF format, keeping it under 2 MB in size.
• Click on 'Submit' to confirm your documents.
