Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been give a fare the well letter by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday. In the letter the Congress chief has praised his contribution to the country as he retires from the Rajya Sabha.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twiiter, it was stated by Kharge that "An era comes to an end" with Singh's retirement. The former Prime Minister was also mentioned by the Congress president as remaining a "hero" to the middle class and the aspirational youth.
