Following threat mails, Harvard receives apology

Cambridge, Oct 6: Following threat mails that the students of Harvard University received on Friday, 3rd Oct, apologetic mails were sent to them on 4th Oct from the very same email account. One of the recipients of both the mails said that the mass shootout mail and the apology mail seemed to be targetted to students of Asian origin.

However, the second mail that was sent out, which said that the mail was sent out by the email account holder's younger brother and that he did not mean any harm. Friday's threatening E-mail had raised an alarm, which led to a tightened security. In fact, a campus safety advisory was issued and a public event about the experiences of Asian Americans at Harvard was postponed.
