Foggy weather affects train operation, 80 trains affected
New Delhi, Jan 12: Foggy weather condition disrupted train operation with more than 80 trains being affected today. While 71 trains remained cancelled, many premier trains like Rajdhani and Duronto Express were running behind the schedule causing inconvenience to passengers.
Rajdhani trains from Bhubaneswar, Howrah, Sealdah and Howrah Duronto were among 10 trains running late by 2 to 3 hours due to the fog while departure of the Nizamuddin-Kota Express was rescheduled.

There were total 71 trains including those announced earlier remained cancelled due to bad weather condition in northern region, said a senior Northern Railway official.
Northern Railway has earlier announced the list of about 52 trains to remain cancelled during January 8 to February-end keeping the fog in mind.
Beside the cancellation, we have also reduced the frequency of a few Delhi-bound trains during this period, he said. However, the official said adequate arrangements have been made to provide help to passengers affected due to the late running of trains.
