Flight Chaos In Delhi: IndiGo And Air India Issue Urgent Travel Advisories

Amid heavy rainfall in Delhi, several domestic airlines, including IndiGo and Air India, issued critical travel advisories to passengers, urging them to carefully monitor their flight statuses before heading to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).

The advisories came in response to IGIA's decision to suspend all departures from Terminal 1 and close check-in counters due to structural damage caused by the severe weather conditions.

According to a spokesperson from Delhi Airport (DIAL), the incident unfolded early in the morning when a section of the canopy at the old Departure forecourt of Terminal 1 collapsed around 5 am.
