Five Individuals Face Legal Action Following Director Sanoj Mishra's Defamation Complaint Regarding Film

An FIR has been registered against five individuals, including a YouTube channel owner, in Mumbai. This action follows director Sanoj Mishra's allegations of defamation and attempts to halt his film featuring Monalisa Bhosle. The complaint was lodged at the Amboli police station in suburban Mumbai.

Recently, Mishra announced his project, "The Diary of Manipur," starring Bhosle. She gained fame as a garland seller at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, becoming an Internet sensation. The film's announcement drew attention due to Bhosle's viral popularity.

Defamation Allegations

The complaint accuses the five men of making serious allegations against Mishra concerning the film's budget and other issues. One individual claimed that none of Mishra's films have been released so far and that he would damage 16-year-old Bhosle's career. Mishra has strongly refuted these claims, describing them as false. He insists that the group is deliberately spreading misinformation to tarnish his reputation. "These people are deliberately spreading false and wrong news against me. They do not want Monalisa's film 'The Diary of Manipur' to be made," he stated.
