Fire breaks out at Scindia House in Mumbai, 5 rescued

A Level-2 fire broke out inside an office at Scindia House (Commercial) near Income Tax office, Ballard estate on Friday. Five fire tenders present at the spot.

Later, the Level-2 fire that broke out inside an office reached Level 3 fire. The five persons who were stranded have also been rescued. The cause of the fire was not immediately known, the official said.

The building, a well-known landmark in South Mumbai, also houses the office of the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT).

No casualties have been reported.
