Exit Poll Result 2024: Today's Chanakya Exit Poll Projects BJP To Sweep Key States

The News 24-Today's Chanakya Exit Poll on Saturday forecasted a sweeping victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat and Chhattisgarh.

According to the Exit Poll, the ruling BJP is expected to secure a 61 percent vote share in Gujarat, winning all 26 seats in the state.

Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, delivered a 26-0 result in favor of the BJP in the 2019 elections as well.

In Chhattisgarh, the Exit Poll projected a 59 percent vote share for the BJP, predicting the party will win all 11 seats in the state.

Previously, the party had won nine seats in Chhattisgarh. Voting for the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections concluded on Saturday, and the results will be declared on June 4.

Additionally, exit poll projections for other states indicate a strong performance by the BJP. In Bihar, the BJP+ alliance is projected to win 36 ± 4 seats, while in Maharashtra, the BJP+ is expected to secure 33 ± 5 seats.

In Tamil Nadu, the AIADMK+ is forecasted to win 0 ± 2 seats, while the DMK+ is projected to secure 29 ± 5 seats. Kerala is likely to see the UDF winning 15 ± 3 seats and the LDF winning 1 ± 1 seat, with the BJP+ projected to win 4 ± 3 seats.

Punjab could witness a close contest, with the BJP and Congress both projected to win 4 ± 3 seats, and AAP expected to secure 2 ± 2 seats. Odisha may see the BJP winning 16 ± 3 seats, while BJD is projected to win 4 ± 2 seats.

In Rajasthan, the BJP is forecasted to win 22 ± 3 seats, while in Jharkhand, the BJP+ alliance is expected to win 12 ± 2 seats. Himachal Pradesh may see the BJP winning 4 ± 1 seats, and Haryana could see the BJP winning 6 ± 2 seats.

The final results of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be declared on June 4, revealing the actual seats won by each party.
