Karti Chidambaram has jugglery of accounts and properties abroad: CBI tells SC
The Central Bureau of Investigation has alleged that Karti Chidambaram took service charges for getting FIPB clearance when his father P Chidambaram was the union finance minister.

The CBI while submitting the interrogation report of Karti Chidambaram made the submission in the Supreme Court. The court will now peruse interrogation report of Karti on the alleged FIPB clearance to INX Media.
The CBI also submitted in the SC through additional solicitor general Tushar Mehta that there was a cogent reason for issuance of a look out notice against Karti. Meanwhile the court did not permit co-accused in the case Ravi Vishwanathan to travel abroad on September 6 to admit his son.
Karti Chidambaram arguing through his counsel said that the CBI has claimed that he had properties all across the world. They also said I have bank accounts abroad. However during the questioning the CBI did not ask me one question about it, he also submitted. The CBI responded by saying, " we have things to show- the jugglery of accounts and properties abroad. The CBI however sought time to furnish the same.
The Supreme Court also permitted the CBI to furnish other documentary proof about Karti's accounts and properties abroad. The case will be taken up next on September 11. Karti had challenged before the court the look out circular issued against him by the CBI. The Madras High Court had stayed the same, but it was vacated by the SC.
