New Delhi, Dec 24: Indian Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials have increased the surveillance on Pakistan officials working in India.
Reports suggesting that some of the officials are aiding elements who are involved in espionage activities has surfaced following which the surveillance on such officials has been increased.

The issue came to light following a spate of arrests that were made by the Delhi police in connection with a major espionage case.
The probe reveals that some officers in India from Pakistan may be operating undercover. Moreover, it was also found that Pakistani officials posted in Dhaka, Bangladesh too are aiding espionage activities in India.
Officials under scanner:
It has been found that several officials have been actively aiding espionage artists. The probe has revealed the names of at least 4 to 5 such officials and if the evidence leads up to these persons strongly, then India would tell Pakistan to withdraw such persons from the country.
The busting of the module, which was carrying out espionage activity, has led to several startling revelations.
While India is cleaning up the mess after it was found that some personnel in the armed forces too were allegedly involved, investigations would also focus largely on the role of the officials posted in various capacities in Pakistan missions.
The probe has found that several agents working for the ISI had been sourcing sensitive information such as the movement of troops and pictures of important installations.
Even a probe by the NIA in Bengaluru had revealed that one of the accused persons had been privy to sensitive information.
It was found that he had material on his laptop relating to a nuclear plant and the military intelligence too confirmed that anyone in possession of such material is liable to be interrogated.
