During a review meeting of the Basic Education Department at his residence in Lucknow, he emphasised that the government is committed to providing quality education and has sufficient funds for this purpose, as stated by the UP government.

Adityanath highlighted the importance of improving the teacher-student ratio across all districts and development blocks. He stressed that the government is dedicated to delivering quality education under all circumstances. To achieve this goal, the state is implementing Operation Kayakalp, which involves inter-departmental coordination and focuses on 19 key parameters.
Operation Kayakalp: Enhancing School Infrastructure
As part of Operation Kayakalp, council schools have been equipped with separate toilets for boys and girls. Essential facilities such as drinking water, well-furnished classrooms, electricity, quality furniture, boundary walls, and secure gates are also being provided to enhance the learning environment.
The Chief Minister announced the construction of Chief Minister Model Composite Schools for classes 1 to 12. Funds have already been allocated for 26 districts. Additionally, Chief Minister Abhyudaya Composite Schools are being developed in 58 districts for pre-primary to class 8 students.
Focus on Comprehensive Development
Both types of schools will include playgrounds, training centres, and courses in craft, clay art, and new-age skills. These initiatives aim to provide a holistic educational experience for students, ensuring they receive both academic and extracurricular opportunities.
The government's efforts reflect a strong commitment to improving educational infrastructure and resources across Uttar Pradesh. By focusing on comprehensive development, the state aims to create an environment conducive to learning and growth for all students.
Adityanath reiterated that the government's treasury is essentially public money. He assured that there is no shortage of funds when it comes to investing in quality education for children in Uttar Pradesh.
